The Motorway 89.01 km long will be a part of the construction of the toll-based M-11 Moscow — Saint Petersburg Expressway, connecting the two largest metropolises of the country.

Stages 1-2 (km 58 — km 149) of the Expressway are within the administrative boundaries of Moscow and Tver Regions.

According to the design documentation, Section 1 of M-11 construction begins at km 58 and ends at km 97. Section 2 of the route corresponds to km 97 — km 149, including: the Section km 58 — 111.3 km passes through the territory of Solnechnogorsk and Klin Districts of Moscow Region, the Section km 111.3 — km 149 km passes through the territory of Konakovo District of Tver Region.

The Approvals of the FAA (Federal Autonomous Agency) Glavgosexpertiza of Russia regarding the design and estimate documentation have been obtained:

on verification of design documentation and engineering survey deliverables: No. 988-10/GGE-4081/04 dated October 15, 2010 and No. 466-14/GGE-4081/10 dated April 07, 2014;
on validation of the estimated cost determination: No. 1029-10/GGE-4081/10 dated October 25, 2010 and No. 466-14/GGE-4081/10 dated April 07, 2014.
